Women who Changed the World

The 6BN explored the topic of role models in English, with a special focus on female activists and inspiring women from different fields and time periods. We discussed what makes someone a role model and how courage, resilience, and commitment can create lasting change in society.

As part of the project, each student chose a woman – living or deceased – and designed a short Instagram-style post using Canva for Education. The challenge was to present key information in a creative, concise, and visually engaging way. The finished “posts” were printed and displayed on a wall in front of the school librabry, allowing other students to flip through them like a real social media feed.

The result was a unique digital-analog project that combined media literacy, creativity, and social awareness – and brought inspiring female voices into our school community.
